Poster on several A4 sheets
A large picture is cut into pages for printing: a PDF with cut marks and sheet numbers. Everything happens in the browser, files are not uploaded anywhere.
A poster made of A4 sheets lets you print a large picture on an ordinary printer. The image is divided into parts the size of a sheet, the parts are printed separately and then joined into one large canvas for a wall, an exhibition or a party.
Specify how many sheets you need across, and the page will work out the number of sheets down from the proportions of the picture. You can choose A3, A5 or Letter, portrait or landscape orientation, and the margins that the printer leaves at the edges of the paper.
In the preview, red lines show how the image will be cut into sheets, and next to it the final size of the poster is given in centimeters. If the proportions do not match, the picture can be fitted whole or made to fill the area with the excess cropped.
The result is saved as a single PDF file in which each sheet is on a separate page. Cut marks and sheet numbers are added in the margins to make it easier to assemble the poster in the right order. Print the PDF at 100 percent scale.
Processing happens in the browser, and the picture is not uploaded to a server. For a good result, take a high-resolution source: the more sheets, the more pixels are needed, otherwise the image will look soft in large print.
